I've started a 20 gallon tall grow out tank to temporarily house some angelfish I'm planning on adding to my 125 gallon planted tank. Started the filter with media from the main tank, so hopefully it will settle in soon.

Tank - 20 gallon tall
Filter - Aquaclear Powerfilter 30
Heater - Eheim Jager 75W
Lights - 2 x 14W 24" T5's
Substrate - 20# playsand
Plants - 3 anubias nanas, some spare italian vals, and a sprig of hygro for good luck
African root wood

Stocked with 3 Serpae tetras and 3 panda cory's. Serpae's will go in main tank prior to angelfish arrival. Cory's may stay here with a small number of residents to keep tank cycled

Going to let things settle in for 3-4 weeks prior to ordering the angelfish. They'll stay in here for a month or so prior to being released into general population.

Looks like a good start and some healthy looking tetras. :D

+1

love the crystal clear water, and the sand. Beautiful for a temp. tank:) Ur angels might prefer that over the 125:)

if u have plecos, they would love that wood

You may want to consider 3 more cories and maybe 3 more tetras just to complete the schools, but other then that, great tank!

Nice tank! The angels will really like it, I'm sure!
