Yankees just signed Octavio Dotel, so they evidently acknowledge the need for a bit of pitching. They also signed Johnny Damon from the "falling apart" Red Sox. Johnny could be the premier lead-off hitter in the American League. Except for Posada, Williams, and Giambi, their whole line-up hit near or over .300 in 2005 ...and Giambi hit 32 HR's while Posada had 87 RBI's. (DH Bernie Williams should be considering retirement... maybe he'll come back to life as DH).
