I'm setting up a 20H tank and haven't decided on stocking. Saw ~ 1.5" Electric Yellow Labs locally for $2 each and thought..."cool fish, great price".
Also had Orange Peacocks for similar price/size. Both were already acclimated to our local water, so that shouldn't a big factor. LFS guy advised they'd be OK together if similar size.

Sooo....what 'cha think?
I think several Yellow labs AND Peacocks together would be a nice display...but I don't think they're gonna fit well in a 20H once grown. (?)
Maybe 4-5 Yellows in a 20H??? breeding would be fun but not absolutely necessary. Moving them to a bigger tank in a year is an option...I could have the 40 Breeder cleared out by then.

Thanks, Don

shellies are great though, and as long as you're getting space in the 40 you can still have electric yellows, so everything works out great.
