got a 29 gal i have not even sarted to do anything with it i want to pick my fish then get the decorations then plants then cycle ECT.

but i was thinking about 4 or 2 blue gormays (i spelled thats wrong)
4 angle fish
4 panda cory cats
4 common hatchet
i think a red tailed shark would controle the tank ??? i dont know tell me what u think

or i should set up let my tank cycle then come back here >>>???
 
That is a little too much fish for a 29 gallon tank. I would leave out the red tail. 4 angles and 2 blue gouramies will be too big when they are grown. 2 gouramies and 2 angles might be possible but I think it is still pushing it a little. What ever you do you need to cycle first or your fish will die. Start with the 2 gouramies to cycle the tank. When the tank has cycled, (it can take 30-60 days) then add the hatchets. If the ammonia and nitrites are still after a few days add the cory's. If there is any ammonia or nitrates are present let the tank cycle some more until there is zero, then add the cory's. Finally if nitrates and ammonia are at zero after a couple of days add the angles. It can be hard to go that long with a new tank, but its better for your fish and your wallet.

2 angels would max out th etank when fully grown. It woudl be okay to have the cories with them but I would add anything else. Gouramis can also be very aggressive to each other. Odd numbers may work but be prepraed to moev them if needed. Hatchets jump very easily so make sure there are no openings on the top of the tank, even a tiny one coudl be fatal.
 
Hatchet fish will beat the #@*^ out of each other. Just keep one. As for gouramis, I'd go with honey gouramis. They are small and colorful, and can be kept in large groups. Just be sure to have more females than males ;) Incredibly hardy, too.
 
i said i was going to go with for top , hatchet fish or black molies or red rasbora ,middel 2 angle 2 or one blue gormays bottom ,rubber lip pleco and 5 panda cory cats
 
or i might ditch the blue grormays and go with a German Blue Ram what do ya think
