Ok... now that I know for sure that Fancy Goldfish are out of the question for my 29 gallon... does anyone have any ideas???

One consideration... I have a 8" pleco in the tank already... so I don't know how much room that leaves for other fish as far as the bio load goes...

I have two whisper 3 filters on the tank... so filtration is a little over double...

any ideas would be great... I have kept Cichlids before but my wife really doesn't want to keep them again... ( they fought too much for her taste) I bought a 54 gallon All glass tank and have one Oscar and a bristlenose pleco in it... so I had to hand my 29 gallon down to my wife....

anyhow... anything but cichlids... and that means I have no idea cause I have never kept anything but cichlids...

Sorry to ramble... Thanks in advance!

Hmm...
4 tiger barbs
4 green tiger barbs
1 rainbow shark
and existing pleco

since you're overfiltrated, should handle the load...

What does she consider Pretty? Everybody has there own taste and definition of pretty. Having that big pleco in there kinda limits you. Are you attatched to it? If not consider trading it in. You could then put a few of the more exotic plecos in there that stay small. There are a few choices there. I know you said no cichlids but how about angels or Kribensis? There are so many choices that for us to try and pick out a fish for you would take several of these pages before we hit on something. Take her to the fish store, ask her what she wants and go from there. If the store employee is knowledgable ask him or her. If not write down what she likes and come back here. I am sure everybody would be able to help you pick out a suitable mix from your choices.
