I have some young pike cichlids that dont come out except at night, and I was advised to get some dithers. Would 3 spot gouramis work, or would they be too territorial or aggressive or something like that?

how big are you pike cichlids? i think gouramis might now be good dithers as they are too slow. what size tank do y0ou have and i could help you then

This coming from a guy who has 4 soon to be large aggressive cichlids in a 55 gall.

they are in a 10 gallon? youn will need a bigger tank but also the piikes are very small so i wouldnt recomend the gouramis. the easiest dither fish for that sized tank are danios
ps optix: they will be moved to a 125 and the piranhas will take my 55

i started cycling a large (70 gallon?) tank before I even ordered these fish.
