What? In a 30-40? No way! Anyone who has kept Angels through adulthood knows that these fish can grow to quite an impressive size. I would say a pair in a 40g tall, a pair of rams (you could run into territorial issues if you keep 4 rams in a tall tank), and maybe a flag.

Neons and Angels can be kept together, but only in large tanks where the neons can keep their distance.

i think any type of fish that has the same body type/size/color probably wouldnt do too well with an angel
