I am going to start fragging my zoanthids in a couple of months so I can trade them off for other color morphs at my LFS. Before I do I would like to know what color morphs I have. I checked the popular zoaID webpage but couldn't find these:

Here are the first two. Brownish with bright green centers. Purple/Brownish with light blue centers.

Second two. Left, yellowish/brownish large polyps. Right, Green with yellow centers.

The bottom pics look like eagle eyes in the middle and the ones to the far right (green and yellow) could be a color morph of Radioactive dragon eyes.

As far as the rest of them ... they don't have ID's

Could the yellow/green one also be considered Green Bay Packers?

Yeah I think they could.

Just remember .. lighting on everyones tank is different and lighting effects the colors on zoas alot ... I get very expensive zoas like, PPE, RPE, GPE, Purple Death, AOG's, Eagle Eyes, Tub's Blues, and Nuclear greens and they all look a little different from the pics of the poeple who sold them to me ... but it's up to you to keep your lighting so that the zoas don't lose color ... I always show people pictures before I trade just so that they know what they're getting ... I got a 100mm cannon camera just so I can take good pics.
Here's some of my pics just so you can see.

Sorry for all the pictures but I'm sure you don't mind looking.

Their guess is as good as mine. Honestly, the zoanthid color morph names make me shudder--I can't stand them. I have to admit, though, it doesn't get as bad as limited edition coral names ("super watermelon explosion echino pie," *gets queasy*).

Also the better the picture the more you can get for your trade/sale. People tend to shy away from blurry pics and dark photos.... I had the camera already I just got a new lens. If you can find a reefer in your area with a camera to shoot your tank then that's one less thing you have to hold you back.

Also when buying from other people selling "named zoas" find out where they got them from and see if they are good seller from other people who've gotten coral from them.

I just got a frag pack and it wasn't anything like what he said it was ... I got ripped off .. the only thing that was real was the most expensive one which is the only reason i'm not so upset. but still a little upset.

I hear you but it's alot easier to say Eagle Eye Zoa as opposed to saying the zoanthid with a green skirt, yellow ring, green mouth with a lite brown ring around the yellow ring.

It helps traders/sellers/buyers ID the zoa alot easier and it's helps for trading ... which is good because if we were only buying reef raised species then the coral reefs would be destroyed. Propagating and selling is a good way to help the natural reef stay there.

Thanks for all the great advice. Amazing pictures too. My camera is horrible so the pictures don't do my zoas justice. My RDEs actually look very similar to yours in life. I guess I will have to see if I can borrow a camera from a friend before I trade.

Sorry about the horrible frag pack. I myself have been tempted to buy a frag pack. But since I don't have the guts to trust shipping I usually just stick to small frags from LFS.

And I also agree with common names. Some of them are really weird, but it makes it easier to identify a certain morph. There are so many "blue" zoas.

Yeah, I agree with you. It is an easier designation in that sense.
