40 Gallon being set up tomorrow.

Just picked up a nice 40 gallon setup.

Going to keep relatively small fish and some corals.

Will be putting the sand and water in tomorrow.

What do you think of this fish list?

Royal Gramma
Ocellaris Clown pair
Banggai Cardinal
Yellow Assesor
Sixline Wrasse
Randall's Shrimp Goby
Neon Goby

All stay pretty small, I think the largest are the clown and Randall's. Will that work out alright?

The bang will do better in a group. That is a lot of fish for a 40, but as you said they are towards the small side. I'd maybe be prepared to not get a few after you had added the others slowly.

I am thinking about dropping the Randall's Goby beings it gets about 1.5" bigger than the neon.

Am thinking I may drop the yellow assesor as well.

That would leave me with,

That is a good list...although I'd personally keep the watchman goby and ditch the cardinal bang. In my opinion the goby will have tons more personality and doesn't prefer a shoal as the bang does and it will give you some tank movement at the bottom.
