400 Gallon Tenecor Acrylic Fish Tank with white acrylic stand and canopy.
Tank: 8’ Long x 40” Wide x 2’ High
Stand: 4’ High
Canopy: 8” High (3 sections)
Filtration:
-New Aqua Large (80 gallon) W/D dual tower Filter w/ 28 gallons of bioballs and central sump.
-Ocean Clear 340 Canister (Mechanical).
-Custom SeaLife 36 Watt Double Helix U.V. Sterilizer.
-Iwaki MD100RLT pump (running the whole system).
Heating:
-ProHeat II 1000 Watt Digital Titanium Heater (in sump).
-300 Watt (glass) additional heater (in sump).
Lighting:
4x 36" 30 Watt flo. bulbs.
2x 36" 100% Actinic blue bulbs.
Monitoring:
-PinPoint Ph Monitor.
-Ammonia alert card (in sump).
-Usual test kits for ammonia, nitrites, nitrates, chlorine, chloramine, gh, kh, etc......
Extra:
-Flow-thru filtration (constant water change) system installed via sump with adjustable flow rates. Clean water comes into sump and directly into the inlet for the pump, water rises in sump and exits from 1 and 1/2" pvc outport in sump wall and drains outside.
Current water rate set to 50 gallons per day.
-TetraTec Deep Water Air Pump (DW96-2) feeding airstones under each of the biotowers for added oxygenation of the biomedia.
-TeraTec Air Pump (smaller unit) feeding additional airstone in center of w/d filter (in sump) for additional oxygenation.
-Auxiliary pvc line from pump (w/ball valve) to be able to fill up buckets, etc. without having to remove canopy (or bother the fish).
Insurance:
-Check valves and ball valves after each junction (pre and post pump)
