I bumped my Blood Parrot, Marbled Convict, and Albino Bristlenose Pleco from their grow out tank (a 20g tall) to a 40g breeder today. I know some don’t like keeping Blood Parrots with Convicts because they may interbreed, but they show no interest in each other unless one ventures on the other’s side of the tank and gets chased off. I’m using a Marineland Emperor 400 for my filter, so I know it’ll keep my water clear, but can I add another fish or two? Do convicts need to live in pairs, or could I get another Central American instead? Also, how long do I have before territories are established?
