50 acrylic breeding tank?.

I would like to get a 50 gal. acrylic for a breeding tank for my synos. Yes I know it's going to cost more then a glass tank.
I decided I would like to go with acrylic due to safety issues of hauling the tank down stairs .
The largest tank I've hauled down those stairs has been a thirty and thinking it over, I decided even that felt risky.

Probably aiming to get this breeding tank next April due to having to save up funds depending on how income goes. Just curious, what's a good choice in sources?.
Should I try and build my own if that'll be cheaper?.

You could always get a friend or 2 to help you down the stairs with it. I recently took a 180 down the stairs with some help. Now that was fun! Well worth it though.

Also, when I get my own place...I'll have to haul it back up stairs and with me. I've decided to leave my 55 gal at the parents permanently because I figure haling that tank upstairs and around to where-ever I go is probably only going to make it leak.
