55 gal stocking question

If your really attached to the mollies and platies you could just get another tank for them. If you can't get another tank they should be ok in the tank, I just think they'll look out of place.

Your stock list is looking better. I would add a school of cardinals in the mix too (10-12) Cardinals look so nice and they will add a ton of color and movement to the tank.

Here are a couple of pics of my male gold angel. They other one in the background is the female. They have a 55gal almost to themselves. The other fish are a long finned albino bristlenose pl*co, a regular bristlenose, and an L260 queen abaresque. I used to have two more angels, but these two decide to become a pair and I had to get rid of the other two.

I was considering getting another tank for them because I really don't want to get rid of them...but I don't have a lot of room. I might be able to get a 30g or something for them.

The angels look great. They are such nice looking fish, I can't wait to get a pair.

Ok so here is the list thus far:

2 Gold Veil Angels
2 German Blue Rams (Maybe 4?)
4 Agassizi Cory Cats
10 Cardinal Tetra

What else would look good in there? I really like the list so far.

I think you list is looking good. I would probably and a few more cory's. Get the tank set up with the driftwood and plants add the fish and see how it looks. You may find out you don't need to add anymore fish. It's better to be understocked than overstocked.

you can go with....

2 Gold Veil Angels
2 German Blue Rams
6 Agassizi Cory Cats
10 Cardinal Tetra

or

2 Gold Veil Angels
4 German Blue Rams
4 Agassizi Cory Cats
10 Cardinal Tetra

maybe adding in a honey gourami... and you'd be pretty much fully stocked..

umm, not sure what other fish might look good instead of a honey gourami... possibly 3-4 swordtails? (one male and two or three females/or all females since males get aggressive towards each other)

The Rams are such beautiful fish I'd really like to have more than just two.

I also really like Honey Gourami, yet some Red Velvet Swordtails would look great as well. I think I may go with 3 Swordtails.

2 Gold Veil Angels
4 German Blue Rams
4 Agassizi Cory Cats
10 Cardinal Tetra
3 Red Velvet Swordtails

How does that sound?

tigers would most likely go after the gouramis and angels, I would ditch them and stick with the rest of the list. Discus require pristine water, and lots of care, think large water changes several times a week... I know some who keep them do 50% a day, usually only in species only tanks.

The tiger barbs should be fine as long as you have at least 5 of them. I have 5 tiger barbs in with gouramis and other fish similar to your list and the tiger barbs only pick on each other. they dont' bother the other fish at all.

i would say stick to the 6 rummie and 6 of lemon or rasboras...because u may be pushing it a little with 10 of each..just make shure u have good filtration!

I've already decided on

2 Gold Veil Angels
4 German Blue Rams
4 Agassizi Cory Cats
10 Cardinal Tetra
3 Red Velvet Swordtails
