Hey guys been thinking bout adding some african dwarf frogs too my 55, but was wondering if my tank would be too much of a hassle for them. I have kept them in smaller tanks before, but have no experience with them in big tanks. any help is apreciated, thanks!!

A 55 would be nice for them. IMO---a little on the large side. What do you plan on having with them???
I've never kept them, but I know they're not very good at finding food, so you'd have to make sure they got fed, since they'll be easily outcompeted in a tank that size.
I have a community tank with:
• 4 Zebra Danios
• 1 Red Wag Platys
• 3 Lamp Eye Tetras (Red Eye)
• 2 Gold Twinbar Platys
• 1 T-Rex
• 1 peppered cory
• 5 Harlequin Rasboras
I plan on getting more female red wag platies and a few more cories and lamp eyes. (I lost fish to ick a few weeks ago) The tank has no decorations that reach the top, so should I include a perch for them???

the DAFs do have trouble seeing. a couple ways to make sure they know to eat is tofeed them at the same time every day, and/or put their food on a terra cotta plate; put them in a feeding tank; don't use gravel. i had my frogs in a small tank with no gravel and fed them as i turned the light. i now have them in a tank with gravel and they're doing well. I've never used the terra cotta plate before, but i've heard that it works. when the frogs are done eating, you'll notice that they look like they have little pot bellies. make sure they'e eating. i accedentally fed one of mine the wrong type of food and they starved because i wasn't paying enough attention.
The only thing I would see being a problem is how tall the tank is. That shouldn't be a problem at all when they are adult size though.
