55 gallon stocking ideas?

Just pay close attention to what guppies you get. Getting a high number like that from one single store guarantee's some of them have diseases of sorts.

nice stocking ideas. I went to a pet store today and saw some male guppies.

Would this work out:
20-25 male guppies
add 2 more catfish
Maybe a Gourami

Lots of options available, but as far as catfish go, it depends on the cat. Pictus catfish? Beautiful. Good idea? No, because as soon as they get closer to full size (8 or 10 inches or so), your guppies will start disappearing.
