Hi there,
I really appreciate all your replies. Lots of great suggestions, and I appreciate em all. I have had great luck with chineese algae eaters. I have one in a 29 gallon with tiger barbs, serpae tetras, a bosemani rainbow, krib, and three corys for over a year and the tank is crystal clear and no fights ever. So I guess its hit or miss and individual fish attitudes that determine the outcome. So I am gonna give it a try in the 55 and if I see any aggression with any of them I will kick the trouble maker out. Again thank you all.
