Hi.
I was wondering if I could get some input on my proposition for my next aquarium. I want a large aquarium but I'm going for the medium for now.
I want a 55 african river Niger setup.
I'll be arranging twigs and driftwood along the back sloping down toward the front to mimick the roots of a sloping riverbank. I'm thinking I may heatmold some styrofoam, coat it in aquarium cement and sand and adhere it to the rear of the tank to replicate the actual sloping bank. I want to use flourite under silversand with large and medium rocks stacked up to create caves in the back. The front area will be free swimming. I want to use various anubius plants lightly.
My fish will be
8 upside down cats or lace...
8 african glass or debauwi catfish
2 kribs
1 elephant nose
I'm considering a couple african butterflies but I'm concerned for the glass catfish.....Any suggestions? I don't know how aggressive or predatory the butterflies are. Thanks!
