This is something I would like to set up in the near future, with various powerheads and such to create a current. Probably a 125, as they seem to be the most common 6' tank that is sold. I would likely have zebra danios as the main school of fish (30 plus), and some yoyo loaches. Now for my question. Does anyone have zebra danios in a similar sized tank, and do you find that 6' is enough length for them to actually school? I know they're not the tightest schoolers anyway, but I am hoping that this would be long enough to see some actual school behavior, since they are a pretty small fish.

i have the best "true" river/stream setup for you... you know how when you have powerheads running all on one side to create a "stream" the ending waters get diffused and curl back into the tank.. giving you a cut into your "stream" well my design (i stole it) is to run 1/2 inch thinwall pvc across the length of the tank so theres and intake end and an output so its a constant flow...
