Does anyone know where I can get a tank divider for a 60 gallon tank? It is pretty tall and I have had trouble finding a tank divider that will fit from my LFS, petsmart and petco. Here are the measurements - 48-1/4"L x 12-3/4"W x 57-3/4"H. I was also looking into making one out of plexiglass and drilling holes in it for water circulation. Would this work or is plexiglass toxic to the water? If so, is there another material I can use? Thanks!

What stock (ie what size)are you trying to keep seperate?

Well I have a couple of Green spotted puffers (juvenile) in there right now. I wanted to put my 3 yellow labs and 2 blue acei cichlids in there, but I don't want them tearing eachother apart (these are juvenile as well 1"). I had them in there before and they seem to pick on the puffers so I have them in my friends cichlid tank for right now. Since he is moving I will need to put them back in the tank with the puffers for about a month or less until I can get my 125 tank set up (still need a filter and will get that soon). I wanted to try and split the tank in half until my other tank is ready.

I was going to suggest looking into the egg crate covers for fluorescent lights. I think they are pretty cheap if you pick one up at Home Depot or somewhere like that and you could cut it to size to make your divider. That would solve any problems or worries about water circulation. You can get the grating pretty small< I just don't know if it would be small enough to keep your stock seperate. You'd have to be the judge of that, just thought I would suggest it.
