Does it make a big difference for plants? I just got a CFL desk lamp to light a little nano planted tank. It didn't say what color bulb it came with, so I also ordered a replacement 6500K to go with it. It came today and has a 6400K bulb in it. I'm guessing it won't make that big of a difference?

If that's the case, I'll just run the 6400K as long as it will last and keep the 6500 as a spare.

I'm sure what plants it will house quite yet btw. Probably mainly mosses, but I'll probably try others as well

Nope. 5000K to 8000K is where you aim for. 6400K vs 6500K vs 6700K is probably not going to make a bit of difference.

The difference is negligible. Typically, 5000K-10000K daylight bulbs grow plants just fine.

Just what I thought, thanks!
