Anyone know where I can get a few dozen square 64 oz Glass Jars at? I've looked all over and I see plastic but when I look at glass everything is round. Any help, I would be grateful.
I'm spawing some nice bettas and need to keep the males seperate.
Why do you want glass? Most betta breeders use plastic. Many use those acrylic beanie baby cases, they cost around $1 each. I would think glass jars would cost quite a bit more and in the research I've done on it I haven't run into anyone saying that glass would be any better for any reason.
BG - believe it or not, WalMart (at least mine does) has some pretty cool vases in varied shapes in the craft section - at mine they are near the artificial flowers. Some go for only a couple bucks each.
Also try some other craft shops - not sure where you are located but you could check yellow pages or google some up.
I don't think there is any reason not to use plastic - except for aesthetics(sp?). I would feel badly about putting them in the beanie baby display cases - way too small IMHO. Maybe plastic display cases for something bigger - like dolls or something.
BG ~ I'm not sure where you live, but here (BOston) there is a store called the Christmas Tree Shop, they have stuff like that... or I bet you could find some at a canning supply store (where you'd get supplies like jelly jars and lids if you were making your own stuff)...
