6500K CFL sale at Menard's

I was at Menard's today get a couple of 50lb pea gravel/river rock bags and noticed my favorite 13watt sylvania cfl bulbs were on sale in the 3 pack for $5.96!!!! Makes no sense to me that the 2700K 2 pack is still almost $9, but I'm not complaining. I've been using these on two different 10gal tanks now with very good results on my plant growth!

I got a couple of the three packs but the more I think about it I should have got more.
The sale ends July 10th, so if you have a Menard's near by go stock up! (I use the 13watt 6500K bulbs, but I think all of the 6500K Sylvania cfl's are on sale)

Man, ya gotta love menards! I'm there most every day!

Sweet. I use some of the 23 watt units on tanks and the rest in half the light fixtures in house. My wife doesn't like the color of CFLs so in all the fixtures that have more than one bulb, I replace half to two thirds with CFLs. She gets instant on and yellow light I get to save some energy and cut down on the heat produced.

what is menards? like a home depot? dont think i have heard of them in calif.

Yeah, It's like a Home Depot just a little bigger and with a much larger lumberyard.
