I was wondering how long would it take for an 7 stripe frontosa to get to about adult size its a male too...? its about an inch long right now just got it a day ago kinda new to the 7 stripe but i have other fishes that i now so yea... also i've been told there rare is that true....?

The 7-stripe frontosas are known as the kigoma variant. If provided an adequate diet and enviroment they can achieve 4" to 6" within their first year of life. After that growth rate slows down. It'll take some years for it to attain full grown size (which is can be over a foot in length).

To promote a good growth rate, prestine water conditions, large tank (6ft tank minimum) and a quality high protein diet is a must.

What other fish are in with it?

its is in a 10 gallon by itself i didnt wanna put it in the main tank because it has 2 silver arowanas and 1 parrot and of course that thing would've been dead in 30 seconds so yea its about an inch long its still pretty small im also gonna get a 6 stripe frontosa from a friend of mines he also just had a successful breed with frontosas....
