I also have a filstar, I think the middle, one and I love it. But I have never seen one in a store or met someone who has ever heard of them.

Seems like it would be ok to have fish that would get large, if it's understood they would be 'traded-in' for some other fish later on. Some LFS's will do this.....

sometimes when you have a big fish that you want to trade in the LFS wont take it even for free cause they lose money by just keeping the fish (food, tank space, etc.) and also because it taqkes up room in their tanks and there is no real demand for large fish (example pacus, oscars, GTs, red devils, etc.) because they will just terrorize or waste space in the tank.
