At the Bottom, gilling rapidly.
The old addage states that everything is worth only what the purchaser will pay for it, right?

What would you pay for a 9 inch clown loach? I should say a 9 inch clown loach that's probably only 8 inches long. Taking into account your area, availability etc. Just curious.

Don't forget the shipping fees etc to Hawaii. Even so, that seems a bit far-fetched.

Call a LFS in your area and ask how much to order one.

That's just crazy, why not buy a baby loach and grow it yourself. It would be much cheaper and you would enjoy it more, I think.

That seems awfully high. I have seen a 5" CL at my LFS for $50. I know after they get over 4" they skyrocket in price, at least in my area. But that seems pretty outrageous.

Same here. I found a group of three 5 inchers at an LFS for 39.99 ea, probably negotiable. But these other fellas, who posted that on CL, they must have exclusive customers. I emailed them about young zebra pleco, at 1.5-2" ... they go for $200 ea.

I think I'm in the wrong business!

I talked to the LFS about that the other day and he said every time he gets a 6" Clown in he sells it for like $75 the next day? He said there was a 9" loach offered to him but it would have to sell for somewhere around the price you saw there so he passed.
