A good Aquarium UV Sterilizer.

I know that some people like these and some dont. I have read all the pros and cons and decided i want one since I have had on and off problems with algae blooms for the last 6 months.

I've looked at the Jebo UV Ultraviolet Sterilizer (13 watts) for my 46g.

I am wondering which others I should look into. Which one should i get?

I have the Pondlife Turbo Twist on my pond, 18w bulb. The pond had a visibility of about 4", it cleared it up over a period of about a week so I could see the bottom in 4' of water. The pond is about 1000gals, the filter pushes about 300gph. I would say that an 18w sterilizer is probably overkill for a tank of that size, you could likely get good performance from one of the smallest sizes you could find.

uv is a pretty sensitive piece of equipment and could be potentially dangerous, as such i would not trust name brands like jebo. Buy something better from trusted name like: http://www.bigalsonline.com/BigAlsU...256/cl0/coralifeturbotwist3x9wattuvsterilizer

but honestly no freshwater aquarium needs a uv unless you have an outdoor pond or something. If it's algae, it can be taken care of naturally by algae eaters (snails, shrimp, sae/oto etc) or through trial/error by balancing the 3 legs (nutrient vs co2 vs light)
