So in the great state of VA about a hour from VA Beach lies a farm with a swamp that feeds from the river. Good thing about it is no one can get in and no one can get out of it......except from the path that leads from a pump house on the river that feeds center pivot overhead sprinklers. Last weekend I went with a new Brim Buster pole and a older one, caught a few smaller brim on the new pole........until a Channel Cat decided to have its way with the new pole and it ended up busted into 3 pieces -___- So off to the old pole I went.....and this is what I came out the swamp with after switching to that old pole.

Nice catch, I'm sure they were good eating!

Especially those bigger brim. I've never seen brim that big, it sucked cause I couldn't take them to be checked for citation's cause the place I go was closed for the day, and I'm sure Id have walked off with a few lol

Nice haul. I would love to grill those.
