how do i make the back walls of my aquarium have that algae grow? i seen it at a LFS the other day and i think i heard someone on here talking about it. I forgot what it was. i would like to do that. thanks
not to my knowledge, the moss fills it in so you cant see it. it actually really simeple and cheap just takes a while. personally i just use a lot of stem plants
go to a craft store or even walmart and pick up plastic mesh. you just put the moss between the two plastic mesh use fishline to keep it closed and place it in the back of the tank. give it time to grow.
i have 2 moss walls in my 10g cherry tank, I have to trim them constantly. It took a couple months for them to fill in after the initial set-up. I used craft-it (looks like latchook screen) and fishing line. Word of caution, be sure the wall fits well and is firmly anchored to prevent fish from getting trapped behind it.
