Hi, I am planning to set up my 120G planted tank with fishes. I am
thinking to use 2 outer orbit pendant with 150W each. The bulb
comes with is 10000K MH. I heard that it should be 6700K for plants.
But I do see some LFS uses 10000K on a planted tank.
Does any of you know if a MH 10000K lighting is good or
bad for a planted tank?

Thanks a lot
Paul

it really isn't so much the K rating of the light..it really is the spectrum of light.

full spectrum 10k is usually fine. metal hallide lights are actually great lights to use .
