I was always amazed that someone so huge could move around reasonably well. Off the air, he was always known as the gentle giant, and was well loved by both fans and wrestlers. I was saddened when I heard he'd died. Here's a good bio of him with behind-the-scenes insight.

I got to see him in person at Guelph Memorial Gardens (Ontario) when I was 13 or so. Man he was huge! And so nice to the kids he was signing autographs for. I almost cried when he died. He was just such a nice person.

The Princess Bride is still one of my favorite all time movies; partially because of him.

I like watching the WWE and the former WWF. Even thoug I know it's scripted and everything, I really enjoy it. I know this big fat bearded sweating black man (can't recall his name) jumps to help Kurt Angle pull a suplex on him, but that's the show.

My girlfriend likes to critizise (¿?) them for the fake outcomes, but I asked her not to do it while I'm watching it.

I enjoy the show, specially the new younger light weight wretlers, whose flying movements amaze me. Rey misterio is one of those.

However, in one of the latest shows, The "Ex-biker" Undertaker (who decided to return to the dark side) threw some rays from his fingers and collapsed the ring. :huh: :huh:

UFC is real, lots of people watch that.

Shamrock is/was the only real fighter ever in the WWE(WWF)

Now I do watch "real" martial sports like boxing and UFC,....

Recently I saw a UFC match where with the first punch, knocked out the other guy. Too bad after rewinding it several times to watch it again, you could plainly see the punch never connected. That match was "thrown".... For me, even some of the UFC is fake.

That happens in "official" sanctioned boxing matches too. Lame-0. I say any fighter that does that for whatever reason should be barred from competition for life.

I've got absolutely no respect for any organization that will allow Don King to promote its' fighters.
