I have 2 6in Tin Foil barbs that make it hard to feed the other fish. I am cnsidering trading them in at my LFS about how much should I expect? :dance2:

try feeding them different kinds of food
like some floating and sinking
ur fishes cant b in two places at once

depends on how much you paid for them, our local has them for about 12.99 for the bigger ones, my tins are about that size feed the tins at one side and the other fish at the other, they'll learn where their food comes from, or try feeding them finely cut luttuce, they seem to like that too.

In all honesty, you should consider yourself lucky if they take them off of your hands. Tinfoil Barbs are very, very common, and they grow too large for most aquarists. This makes them of little resale value.

You are doing the right thing getting them out of the 55g, though. They would do much better in a larger tank, given their potential size and activity levels.

thats one of the many reasons we're getting our 75-100 gal tank soon, some of our fish will get large, thats where the research comes into play
