Hey everyone I am wanting to build an above ground pond for my turtles. I can't go in ground like normal as I rent my house. I will also need ideas on how to keep dogs and kids out. It will be in my back yard with the dogs and where the kids swingset is. I have 4 kids they are 7, 5, 3, and 1. I have drawn up some designs as close to scale as possible. They will be attachted. Also I need to know what would be the best type of filter to use for it and what I can do as far as temp wise for the water as I live in arizona. I have 3 red ear slider turtles I will be putting in there and 1 false map turtle. Any type of fish I can put in there with them would be great to know if anyone has any ideas. Also is there anything is I need to know for the above ground pond and other things I can do to decorate it to make it look like a real pond or plants to put in there. And how to put them in there so they can thrive. Any other ideas would be helpful as this is my first pond I am doing. I have had my turtles in a tank since 2009 when I first got them.
