In the ongoing problem of "My Algae Eater Is Too Big" (which I wrongly identified as a Pleco in the last thread), I drove over to my LFS to talk about picking up some Oto Cats to clean the tank. Unfortunately, I drove to the front door to find "For Sale" painted in the window.

No problem, I'll talk to this other store I know of. I call him ahead of time and ask if it's alright if I trade the Eater for the Otos. He says fine.

I drive over there, Algae Eater in tow (and stressed to all hell because of it), and find that while the guy told me they opened at 10, they weren't open yet at 11:30.

I think that since I've already got Big Poppa out, I'll stop out to the nearest chain pet store. I sat for 20 minutes waiting for "the fish guy" to come and tell me if they have any Otos. He never comes, and some other lady there tells me that not only do they not have any in stock, but that "they don't do that good of a job anyways" and that I should just clean the algae manually. "What about the silk plants?" I ask. She recommends that I soak 'em in bleach.

I hastily make my way back to the first store, which is open this time. Unfortunately, this time, the person behind the counter gives me a blank look when I ask him about the Otos. Not to mention his tanks looked downright disgusting.

So I had to take my SAE back to my tank, who's now plenty stressed from taking a car ride, and I'm still left without a LFS. Uhhh... help?

I know that LFS refers to fish store, but I do not know the true meaning of LFS. Can you inform me about the acronem LFS. What is an LFS, and what does LFS stand for?

Sorry if I ended my sentence with a preposition. I see that some Canadians and Brits are on the site, and I apologize for not using the Queen's English.
