Hey guys

For xmas one of my sisters bght me some ADA aqua soil Amazonia for my 2ft jungle community tank. so off i went pulling down my old set up as happy as larry, and i cleaned everything till it was spotless (i had a lil bit of an algae problem) and bleached my plants and glassware n all of that. anyways, to cut a long story short i set up my tank in a new location (away from any direct sunlight because i think this was causing my algae problem) and pt in my new substrate (which I might add is a loely product), followed one of Takashi Amano's setting up guides to the letter for how to plant with this soil, went to fill it up after i had planted so i got a saucer to stop the water from disturbing the soil and started filling. when i finished, I looked at the end result nd i could hardly see 10cm into the tank it was so cloudy. so i decided to give it an hour of filtration (because it says to in the booklet that comes with it to un a filter for about an hour to get rid of any cloudy water) and went to sleep. woke up this morning (about 8 hours after i put the filter in) and there was absolutly no difference. so i changed the filter sponge for cotton wool (didnt have any aquarium wool) and now it has been runing for about hours with no results.

HELP!!!

If anyody has any experience with cloudy water using this product please tell me how u solved the prolem

thanks guys

n sorry for the long story

hi i guess this might have come a few years late.. .but better late than never... i used nutrafin bio clear along side cycle and waste control and after two day the water was crystal clear... it also helps to have an extra filter loaded with sponge and carbon
