Alright i have a walmart 29 gallon tank, it came with everything with it like filter and all that jazz. The light in there now is 30 watts i believe. What i wanna do is add another flouro tube next to the other one, now there is room but i will have to do a little cutting which is no problem. What all do I need to power the tube and where can I buy the equipment? I also would like to know where i can find 2 of those clip things that the tubes hook into. Thnx!

You'll need a retrofit kit. You can't just stick another light in there

Why can't I just add another tube. I know ill need a the thing to power the tube and hangers to mount it. I did do a little more searching and found this http://www.vividaquariums.com/10Browse.asp?Category=Drygoods And Aquarium Supplies:Coralife Lighting it apparently has everything ill need to do exactly what i wanted to do and that iis add another light into my hood. Does anybody have any experience with the Ballast kit in the link?
