ADF questions

I bought one a month or two ago for my 10g tank (also has a betta and a snail). Although he doesn't attack him anymore, the betta is still not very fond of the idea of sharing the tank with another moving thing! More aggressive than I thought!

Question 1) Would it be a bad idea to buy another ADF for the tank? To give the current one company and to possibly encourage him to come out from hiding occasionally?

Question 2) I read the article on here about ADF's and I know it discourages from keeping them in a very large tank (which by the way I am tiring of hand feeding the little guy!!) If I bought several and was confident that there is enough food in the bottom of a large tank, would they learn to scavenge and be alright? My brother has a few in his 75g and I know he does nothing special for them and they are big and healthy, are they the exception to the norm?

If the betta is too agressive and keeps picking at the frog, I don't think it would be a good idea to keep them together. The betta might stress the frog to death. Keep an eye on the betta and move it out of the tank if it must be done.

1) If the betta cools down or you decide to move it, you could get another ADF. ADFs aren't particularly social, so they don't really need another frog.

2) The only concern for frogs in big tanks is food. In big tanks, the fish usually gobble up the food before it reaches the bottom, and then the catfish would eat it. It's difficult for the tiny ADFs to get any food. BUt if you are sure they can get food, then it shouldn't be too much of a problem.

He doesn't pick on him so much anymore, just kind of follows him around. And sometimes I have to hold a divider in the tank when I feed the frog, just to keep the betta from getting everything! For some reason I thought that they liked company, just didn't really need it.
I make a point of getting a couple different kinds of sinking foods and make sure all of my corys and 2 plecos are fed. But I guess it would be a gamble if the frog would actually be smart enough to find it too...
