I find FAMA (Freshwater and Marine Aquaria) to be a good magazine. Most that I have found try to balance between both with a smattering of pond information thrown in.
FAMA And T.F.H are both very good magazines. I've subscribed to several different magazines over the years and even though they have some interesting reading, I've learned much more about aquariums by using the internet and fish forums like this one.
There are plenty of great marine books available that would provide more in depth information, as well. Martin A. Moe has written a few books that I highly recommend.
