Advise needed please.

Good morning everyone.

Just a quick question please.

I have found some bubble algae on my rock,the only problem being its underneath the rock which is placed at the bottom of the tank.

The only way to get rid is to take the rock out as i can not reach it with a pair of tweezers.

This means taking other pieces of rock out to get to it.
My question is would it be ok if i took some of the other rock out and placed it in a bucket of ready made up salt water at the same temp as the tank so i can get to the rock with the bubble algae on.

Yes, that would be absolutly fine...in reality, its not going to be in the buckets for very long at all....have done it before where i have just moved it to a empty corner of the tank so i get to a bit of rock...either way, its fine..

There is an easier way to battle bubble algae than to tear the tank down and piece it back together again. Go to your LFS and buy a Emerald Mithrax Crab, they eat nuisance bubble algae. You will only need one so dont worry about buying a dozen or so of them.
 
Have tried all my LFS and none of them have even heard of them let alone sell them.

Anyway its all sorted now and everything is fine.

not a problem. Kind of odd that your LFS doesn't know what a mithrax crab is. Doesn't sound like a very knowledgeable place to me if they don't. you can find them at www.liveaquaria.com if you need them in the future though.
