African Dwarf Frogs

I just recently had to get rid of some fish (gsp's & a bala shark) because of my water type and tank size. I picked up 3 African Dwarf Frogs because they looked cool, were non-aggressive and live in fw.

Any advice on how to take care of them or anticsI can expect to witness? :dance:
 
well dont be alarmed if it does a dead mans float or lays upside down because they like to do that kind of weird stuff, have you already fed them because if you dont know by now realize they will have to be hand fead bloodworms about every 3 days
 
Well, they do eat other things besides bloodworms....I feed mine freeze dried tubifex worms and they scoff up any fish pellets that sink.

But....I do hand feed mine, whatever I give them. They're such clutzy little guys, they can't even get out of their own way..! Lol....
 
They're pretty cool and don't require extra attention. I just feed as I regularly do and they're fine.

i guess i got a stupid one then, he wont go after sunken pellets or non eatin flakes, but he will wait 2 hours (not joking) for the betta's tail to come within striking range, which he takes an insanely fast ride for anout 5 seconds and then he goes out and tries to eat a catfish 5 times bigger then him (no joke either) eventually the catfish gets annoyed with the little guy pecking him in the eye, mouth,and fins so the pleco tries to suck him up but his mouth is too small...hes the funniest to watch!
 
How do you habd feed them. Will they come to the top of the task to eat?

Is this normal behavior for an ADF? I've been doing research and have been thinking of getting a couple for my tank which is currently stocked with Endlers, but now i'm having doubts...
