How do you habd feed them. Will they come to the top of the task to eat?

no i have to stick my whole arm into the tank( right in front of him )to the bottom and wait about 1 minute for him to strike...

Is this normal behavior for an ADF? I've been doing research and have been thinking of getting a couple for my tank which is currently stocked with Endlers, but now i'm having doubts...

well im pretty sure he tries to eat the betta's tale because the tip of his fins are red and look just like the bloodworms i feed him, i would say to get a couple espicially if you like to sit down and watch your tank for a while, but if you want a very low maintnance tank i would say no, if you do end up haveing to hand feed them you could always get one of those giant tweezers like a foot long and that would make things much easier.

Wow I just dump a bunch of bloodworms in my tank, they eventualy figured out I'm not nice enough to hand feed / wait on them.

They are quite plump now...

I've never fed anything bloodworms before...Do the freeze dried and the frozen ones sink to the bottom once they're put in, or do they float for a bit, then sink?

they sink after they get unfrozen , with mine i have to sorta of wiggle it back and forth for him to notice it before the betta or pleco tries to go after it...

Hi! My first post...been reading up on the ADF's...so delighted to have found this forum, what wonderful info.
Anyway, I've been feeding them the bloodworms, brine shrimp, and mosquito larvae, all of which are frozen from my lfs. They {I have two} have noticed almost immediately when I drop this food in! The water filter stirs the food up some and I have watched the ADF's strike right at it. Guess I've been lucky!

I love our dwarf frogs. We have two females and a male, and it is a real kick to hear the male chirp at the females at night.
I feed mine bloodworms and frog pellets. I sunk a small reptile feeding dish in the bottom corner of my tank to feed the frogs in. That way the food doesn't get lost in the gravel, and the frogs can find the food when they are ready. There is no mess, and the frogs know where to come when they are hungry. I'll often feed them their bloodworms out of a turkey baster so I don't have to sink my arm in the tank. They come right up to the mouth of the baster and eat the worms as I squeeze them out.

yeh i had two ADFs but one died the other day :( it seems he or she ate more of everyone elses fair share, even though it shoulda been expected. the other was playing behind the filter  he's special...he's in a 10g with two neon tetras and two corydoras who help clean up extra bloodworms and they all get their share unless the other fish get nipped at.
