African Filter Shrimp with Cichlids?

I'm thinking of doing my next tank as either a tang or malawi tank. Size is probably going to be a 55 gal. I'd like to have a couple of African Filter Shrimp in the tank and want to know what fish would be compatible and which I should stay away from.

...I wouldn't think they'd be compatible with any african cichlids.

Crud. Oh well. I guess this means I'll have to get some more invert only tanks
