Aggressive Cherry Barbs

i think my lfs hormones the cherry barb water because they have a "male" cherry barb tank and all of them are so red

Sometimes they come from the breeder that way. I think they call it being juiced where they are fed certain food that is laced with hormones. In my opinion I think they need to leave it alone and let nature take its course.

I have the same problem. I think a larger tank and/or more females is the answear.
