If you want to have nice company to your guppies, I suggest Black Phantom Tetras. They are pretty (check my avatar) they grow just slightly larger than guppies and they don't nip at all (impressive). They are quick swimmers and are relatively shy of other fish. They are also very enjoyable in little schools as they all follow eachother around (they even sleep right on eachother!).

Guppies are great community fish but they tend to get on the nerves on some other type of fish. I suggest that you take the time to inform yourself BEFORE going out and buying anything "pretty". Check a few websites/fishes that you'd like to have and post here once you have a small list.

I'd be more than glad to help out in whatever way I can in terms of advice.

Just judging from the angels I have, they are definitely comptetive fish and are pretty snippy. Oddly enough, my rhino pleco gives them a throrough thrashing if they go after his pellets though.

If you put Angels and Guppies together expect Guppies to die and take a beating. Angels DO NOT like Guppies, especially the males with their large fancy tailfins.
