aggressive fry????????????

I have a 10g full of about 50 6 month old convict cichlid fry, I'd say they are about 1/2 inch in length

my female just laid eggs again today...when they hatch, can I scoop them out and throw them in with the older fry, or will the older fry devour them?

I couldn't tell you, but I'd recommend a little trial and error......

I think if their mouths are big enough to eat the fry, they probably will. But give it a try with just a few and see if they're left alone.

The older fry will eat them. Which in this case may be a good thing. That 10 gallon tank has way to many fish in it for them to grow properly. You should pick perhaps a dozen to raise and use the rest for feeders. You also need to consider what you will do with the young once they are grown. Around here you would be hard pressed to get rid of that many convicts. Just my 2 cents here.
