Hey all so I got that Royal Farlowella cat from the global pet expo at the end of february and all is going well with the fish... maybe a little too well? Its in my 75gallon tropical community and it is aggressive towards smaller tank mates (particularly my rubber lip pleco) at feeding time. When I drop a zucchini slice or algae wafer in it will defend it against everything else, sometimes it even defends two simultaneously! Its not starving thats for sure its rather plump lol. But that doesnt concern me as none of the fish have been actually hurt. what is bothering me is I noticed a circular hole on the side of one of my angels... I cant get a good pic of it but its deffinitely a cut into the skin and not something growing on it, although im sure that something will
. Its roughly the size of the royal F's mouth and the only other sucker I have in the tank is a rubber lip that is very passive and never aggressive. Could the Royal F have attacked my angels side probably at night when its most active and the others are asleep? Also I am begining to think that the death of my L144 might be related to this Royal F as well since it is so aggressive. Its odd the description of a Royal F says peaceful... Also if it matters this fish is just about full grown at about 8" being the largest fish in my tank.
