What are some ways improve my air stone? I have an air stone that is located inside of a jar pumping in air. The bubbles that it pumps are quite large, I would like to make alot of small bubbles and not large bubbles. I was reading that I could make the jar deeper thus improving the over all bubbles. I was just wondering what other ways people have. Thanks

You should change your airstones every month since they tend to get clogged (Airstones provide tons of oxygen and circulation for the Nitrifying bacteria causing them to grow on the airstones forming a nice biofilm that clogs it) My guess is that either the flow rate to the airstone is too high or its old.
