Listen i simply dont agree with u guys and u know what they got along find for a significant amount of time like 2 months and those fish take years to get those sizes i was giving the current sizes of those fish in my tank. and like i said i was going to ugrade to another tank in the next month or two but i guess i dont have to since my ballas are dead now

If you don't agree, then why ask for help? As several others have already pointed out, if you can't humble yourself to accept the advice others are willing to offer, don't bother asking. I'm sorry that your bala sharks died, but that's honestly not my problem. I feel I've been very patient with you in trying to help your situation, but you simply don't want to take everyone's help. That's fine. Feel free to do things your way. Do the opposite of what we suggest if you feel that's rational and fair. We cannot tell you what to do, we are only looking out for the well being of the animals in your care, and in the care of anyone who comes to us with a question. I don't know everything, and nor does anyone else, but collectively, we can figure out the answer. Opinions are nothing more than that; opinions.

I would like to point out however, that by all means, 2 months is not a "significant ammount of time." Bala sharks can live to be 15-20 years old, and under ideal conditions, I wouldn't be surprised to hear of one living past that. 2 months out of 20 years is the blink of an eye really... hardly anything to shake a stick at, much less to declare a "significant ammount of time" in determining their overall health and happiness level.

I'm really not trying to be antagonistic here, but you've mentioned before that you'd upgrade your tank size, so I'm prone to believe that may not happen as soon as you'd like it to. Supposing you did get a 100g tank in 2 months, it would be at least 3 months from now before you could even put your fish in the tank, and that is IF you got the tank in 2 months. I think fishkeeping has become too much of a novelty hobby, and not enough people take the fish's overall health and well being into consideration. Like I've suggested before, take a look at monsterfishkeepers.com and see what kind of setups the guys with bala sharks have them in... ask them about their maintenance schedules, what size tank their balas started in, etc. I'm willing to bet that they'll tell you not only that they started their balas out in a 200+ gallon tank with a group of at least 4-5, but that they put in a lot more work than you might realize comes with owning them.

Like I said, I'm not trying to be antagonistic here, but I tried my hands at bala sharks once before, and I felt so bad when they died that I am easily frustrated when I hear about balas being stuck in too small of a tank, having too many tank mates, etc. I don't have to worry about you returning them, since they've already passed away, but I'd recommend not getting bala sharks again until you actually own a 150+ gallon tank MINIMUM, (and even that's really pushing it...) and have done a lot more research on these magnificent fish.

No, they do not. With excellent water conditions, and plenty of quality food, your bichir should go from 3" to 10" in under 12 months (incidentally, he will attain only 12"-13", not 14"+, but still a very large fish in a tank that is <40gallons. The other fish should attain a full 2/3 of their full-size within a year as well.
