i have 2 albino cory's...my older one has not been active at all. i haven't seen him eating or swimming around or coming up for air for a while now. my last water change was 2 weeks ago & i have since noticed my tank was getting dirty faster. does anyone know what may be wrong & what i can do to help him? i'm afraid i'm gonna find him dead one morning :(

ok this is somewhat off topic...but....what do i feed albino corys...and what did you feed? i have never seen mine eat...is that bad? i have tried algae wafers and fish flake...what do they like?

Like ronw007 asked, what are your water params? What sized tank is it? What tank mates do you have with the Corydoras?

I'd suggest doing a large water change ASAP.

Also, when everything settles down in your tank, I'd suggest getting some more Corydoras. They should be kept in groups.

Good luck!

Matt

Cories need a varied diet. They like tubifex worms, blood worms, shrimp pellets, hikari sinking wafers, and some algae wafers alot. They also enjoy some lives foods.

My Albino Cory's will eat almost anything that sinks to the bottom of the tank. Flake food, shrimp pellets, algae wafers, granuales and pellets. I have also seen them eat frozen brimp shrimp. They love live black or blood worms, but you do have to be careful where you purchase them, they can bring disease into your tank.

i have a 10 gallon tank...2 albino cory's & 2 skirt fish. everyone is fine except him all of a sudden. i do 25% water changes every 2 weeks. i have no ammonia or nitrite & my nitrate & ph levels are perfect. i feed them algae wafers & shrimp pellets regularly, i feed the skirt fish tropical geanules & crisps in which the fallen leftovers usually disappear immediately. (& blood worms as a treat.)

physically he looks normal...nothing noticeably wrong... plump & regular coloring. i've been working really long hours so it may have been a week already.
