I had an Albino Dwarf Frog (it actually had kind of a faint pink tint), and YES it WAS a dwarf frog and NOT a clawed frog. It had webbed front feet, a flat head and a narrow "waist", as well as long skinny hind legs. I had it for over a year and it was never bigger than my first thumb knuckle. Anyway, I thought my little musk turtle killed it, because I saw it eating the "remains", but I think it just died and he was indulging in the leftovers, since he was more than twice as big as the turtles head. Anyway, when he died, I took my turtle out of the tank (5 gal) and put another albino dwarf frog in it. It was more of a yellow color, no pink tint, but still NOT a clawed frog. Well, that one just disappeared from my tank last week (I have malaysian snails in there that devour anything that dies).

I guess my first question is, what would cause them to die suddenly, since I had the first one for a year and the 2nd one for almost 3 years. I never noticed either of them acting funny or differently, they were both eating. They ate flakes, dried blood worms, frozen bloodworms, pellets, etc.

My second question is... where can I find some more albino dwarf frogs? Apparently the store I got them from hasn't been able to get ANY dwarf frogs from their supplier because the supplier got sued by some loser who said the frog gave her son salmonella poisoning :angryfire: I KNOW they exist, but I didn't realize what a RARE find I had, and I am pretty upset that they are both gone. :irked:

Here's a video of Casper the frog to show you he was an albino dwarf african frog.
