algae destroyer

hmm.. WAIT! i just remembered. if there is copper in algae destroyer, that must be why my snails and crayfish died within a week of having each of them.. even though the tank was dry and stored for a good while.

should have elaborated a bit.. i havent used that stuff in years, but i DID use it on this particular tank when i first got it and had my first algae bloom.

Wow that was a lot of good feed back. First off, I do water changes 3 times a week I clean and vacuum all three times. I actually seen planaria once before but only a few. This was thousands of worm like things about the size and shape of planaria but the did not wiggle.

I think what is happening is the chemical is making the algae stick together and it just looks like little worms. I put a little more in today just before a water change and the same thing happened again. Its really weird.

if it does have copper in it is that bad for my plants/fish?
Thanks
